This past summer I went to the island of Samos, the island of Pythagoras for what was to be merely a layover and means to fly back to Athens. The that visit opened my eyes to a beautiful island with lots of fabulous dishes and the excellent local wines.
This menu is perfect for autumn and we will dine at St. Lawrence Market on Sunday, November 8th. All the dishes will be prepared using Greek extra-virgin olive oil from Nisos Importing.

Samiotiko Bourekakia
Tiganites with crumbled Feta
Melitzanosalata with walnuts and petimezi on crusty bread
1st course: Samos Style Pumpkin Soup with Greek Yogurt & toasted pumpkin seeds
2nd Course: Onion Dolmades filled Meat and Rice
Main Course: Lamb Kapama with Roast Potatoes
Dessert: Quinces poached in Muscat wine
All dishes will be paired with wines/spirits from Kolonaki Group
